Mysteryland 2017 has been cancelled

According to several music blogs and sites yet another festival has been canceled. Mysteryland (USA) is the latest cancelled EDM festival.

Dancing Astronaut writes: “Cancellation rumors have been plaguing the US edition of Mysteryland for some time now following a period of inactivity from the organizers. There were rumblings on Reddit that media had lost contact with the festival producers over two months ago, but things took a serious turn when artists–like LCD Soundsystem–began removing their performance dates at the festival from their websites. More damningly, Ekali posted recently on Reddit that the festival had definitely been cancelled.

In response to enduring speculation and rumor mongering, Dancing Astronaut has reached out to a source from inside the festival, who–speaking on the condition of anonymity–confirmed that Mysteryland has been cancelled for 2017. The festival is to make an official announcement sometime this weekend, but is unlikely to reveal the cause of cancellation.

We will update this story as more information becomes available.”

Webster Hall has been sold to AEG Live and the owners of the Barclays Center, Pacha is closed, Electric Daisy Carnival will not return to New York and Time Warp is also not returning. Seems that New York is in transition.
